Schuster School of Music exists to serve individuals and families by providing music classes, private lessons, and special music events. We offer a highly educational and inspirational experience to our students. We would love to share our passion and knowledge of music with you and your family!

One of the things that sets our school apart from many others is that we place a high emphasis on ear training and music theory in everything that we do. With
these foundational elements of music at the core of our teaching philosophy, we are able to develop students into strong music readers AND strong musicians who can hear, analyze and understand, and create music individually and with others over a lifetime.

Kids who participate in music are statistically more likely to succeed academically, have a longer attention span, and develop better social and emotional skills. Our Founders
Meet the Schusters
Founded by Chris and Paige Schuster, Schuster School of Music is built on a strong foundation of music education, professional music experience, and a genuine love for people. Chris grew up in a musical home, received his bachelors degree in music education from NDSU, and taught music full time at Park Christian School and in the Fargo public high schools. His teaching experience spans elementary-12th grade in a wide variety of class settings including choir, band, jazz ensemble, music composition, special ed. music, private instruction, and more. Chris also spent 5 years on staff at a local church leading the worship ministry, developing other musicians, and serving the church as a pastor. In the winter of 2022 Chris and Paige left their places of employment to launch The Schuster School of Music. Paige and Chris run the school together. Chris is the school's primary music teacher. Paige is a highly detailed, business minded individual with an uncanny ability to catch and cast vision. She is also an incredible wife and mother. Their daughter is the school's primary administrator, managing Chris and Paige’s schedules with her constant personal needs. :)
